On the morning of November 25, 2009, Academician Huang Boyun, President of Central South University, the Executive Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, the Deputy Director of the Bureau of International Cooperation at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the President of U.S.-based 360IP Investment Company, the General Manager of KBC Company, and Dr. Zhang from LDK Solar—among other key figures—held a multi-party cooperation meeting at Central South University.
Various parties held discussions on topics such as research into new energy development, the collaboration between Central South University and the Xinyu Municipal Government, and the integration of carbon-carbon composite materials from Hunan KBC Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. into Xinyu City's photovoltaic industry chain. As a result, the parties reached multiple agreements aimed at strengthening research in the new energy sector, enhancing university-city cooperation, and jointly promoting the growth of Xinyu City's new energy and new materials industries.
