Warmly celebrate the rollout of KBC Shares' 10,000th carbon/carbon crucible!

On May 18, 2017, Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd. rolled off its 10,000th crucible from the production line. The company’s management team, R&D technical team, and representatives from several departments gathered to witness this exciting milestone. During the ceremony, the Chairman delivered a speech, expressing his hope that all employees would seize this opportunity to redouble their efforts and steadily advance toward the ambitious goal of "refining, strengthening, and expanding." He emphasized the importance of fully developing core technological capabilities and building strong brand advantages, ultimately enhancing the prestige of the "KBC" brand. Following the speech, the Chairman, along with General Manager Mr. Wang Bingquan, Deputy General Manager Mr. Wang Yuejun, and Chief Engineer Mr. Li Jun, jointly unveiled the successfully produced 10,000th crucible.

Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd.'s fifth industry standard has been approved.

The industry standard YB/T4587-2017, "C/C Composite Heating Elements for Single-Crystal Furnaces," jointly developed and led by Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd., was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on April 12, 2017, and will come into effect on October 1, 2017. This standard builds upon previously issued and implemented standards such as YS/T792-2012, "C/C Composite Crucibles for Single-Crystal Furnaces"; YS/T977-2014, "C/C Composite Insulation Sleeves for Single-Crystal Furnaces"; and YS/T978-2014, "C/C Composite Flow Guide Tubes for Single-Crystal Furnaces."

Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd. Trade Union awarded the title of "Model Workers' Home in Hunan Province"

On the afternoon of April 25, 2017, Zhang Xiangdun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Yiyang City Federation of Trade Unions, along with his delegation, visited KBC Shares to present the plaque recognizing the company as a "Model Workers' Home in Hunan Province." Company General Manager Wang Bingquan and Trade Union Chairman Gong Yuliang, among others, attended the ceremony. In recent years, aiming to build the trade union into a vibrant "Workers' Home" characterized by sound organization, dynamic activities, employees' trust, and robust vitality, the company's trade union has actively responded to the guiding principles and support from its higher-level union. Under their careful guidance, the union has earnestly implemented initiatives aligned with the goals of establishing such a "Workers' Home," tailoring these efforts to the company's specific circumstances and achieving tangible results. As a result, the Hunan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions has officially awarded KBC Shares the title of "Hunan Province Model Workers' Home."

On the morning of April 12, 2017, Cai Zhenhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, led a delegation to visit and provide guidance to KBC Co., Ltd. Accompanying them were Qu Hai, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Hu Lian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, among other leaders. The company’s Chairman, Liao Jiqiao, and General Manager, Wang Bingquan, warmly welcomed the research team. As the delegation toured KBC’s product showroom, Minister Cai Zhenhong listened intently to the company’s presentation on its innovative technological advancements. Currently, KBC boasts a world-class R&D team, with its independently developed products already reaching internationally advanced levels in multiple key technologies. Notably, the company’s newly developed 36-inch ultra-large-size crucible represents a global first. The delegation also learned about the company’s strong focus on civilian-use carbon/carbon composite materials.

On April 5, 2017, Qu Hai, Secretary of the Yiyang Municipal Party Committee, along with Mao Zhibing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yiyang Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, and their delegation, visited KBC Shares to inspect the company's operations. The delegation toured the company's exhibition hall and listened to a detailed report from Mr. Liao Jiqiao, Chairman of the company, covering the company's basic information, current development status, and future plans. Secretary Qu highly praised the company's achievements in scientific innovation and intellectual property protection, expressing deep appreciation for the innovative spirit demonstrated by the company's R&D team as they firmly rooted themselves in Yiyang for continued growth. Secretary Qu also offered several suggestions for the company's future development: first, it should further leverage its strengths in technological innovation and strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, and research institutions.

On February 21, 2017, Lu Xianhua, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, along with Yan Weidong, Director of the Policy and Regulations Division; Qing Jianbo, Director of the High-Tech Division; Huang Kaige, Deputy Director of the same division; Liu Jianyuan, Director of the Torch Entrepreneurship Center; and Zhang Xiaoping, Director of the Provincial Productivity Promotion Center, paid a visit to KBC to inspect its operations. The delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall and production facilities, and listened to a report by Li Jun, the company’s Chief Engineer, detailing the firm’s technological innovations and product development efforts. Director Lu highly praised the company’s significant achievements in the research and application of carbon/carbon composite materials, encouraging KBC to continue boldly pursuing cutting-edge science and technology in the field of high-performance carbon fiber composites.
