Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd.'s fifth industry standard has been approved.

The industry standard jointly developed and led by Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd. YB/T4587-2017 "Heating Elements Made of C/C Composite Materials for Single-Crystal Furnaces" It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on April 12, 2017, and will come into effect on October 1, 2017.
This standard marks the fifth industry standard approved and implemented, building upon previously issued standards such as YS/T 792-2012 "C/C Composite Crucibles for Single-Crystal Furnaces," YS/T 977-2014 "C/C Composite Insulation Sleeves for Single-Crystal Furnaces," and YS/T 978-2014 "C/C Composite Flow Guide Tubes for Single-Crystal Furnaces." These standards systematically regulate the production, distribution, and application of crucibles, insulation sleeves, flow guide tubes, and heating elements used in the thermal zones of single-crystal growth furnaces. By establishing a well-organized market framework, they provide a solid foundation for promoting the widespread adoption of C/C composite thermal products, while also supporting energy savings, cost reductions, and enhanced safety in crystalline silicon manufacturing enterprises. Ultimately, these standards contribute to the robust development of both silicon material producers and C/C composite material manufacturers.
