Attending the ceremony were prominent figures including Academician Huang Boyun from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wang Kemin, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Qiu Guanzhou, Vice President of Central South University, Xu Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Central South University, Jiang Zabing, Secretary of the Yiyang Municipal Party Committee, and Wu Jianguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Yiyang Municipal People's Congress—along with leaders from the provincial and municipal governments, as well as heads of various functional departments of the Yiyang Municipal Government.
