KBC Carbon Ceramics Helps GAC's AI Shenyang Soar into the Sky

On the evening of September 15, 2022, Guangzhou’s iconic landmark, the "Little Waist," sparkled under the night sky as the GAC Aion Brand Night and China’s First Hypercar Launch Event took place there. During the event, Aion officially unveiled its brand-new logo, which will now be rolled out across all its products. Simultaneously, Aion introduced its latest high-end product lineup—starting with a groundbreaking hypercar that marks the beginning of a new era for Chinese automotive brands in the supercar segment. The new vehicle, named the Hyper SSR, is powered entirely by an electric drivetrain, delivering a peak wheel torque of 12,000 Nm and achieving a blistering 0-to-60 mph acceleration in just 1.9 seconds. Equipped with advanced carbon-ceramic brake discs, the Hyper SSR is set to begin official deliveries in October 2023.
