On October 14, 2018, Chen Fei, Vice Governor and member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Hunan Province, along with his delegation, visited KBC Shares for an inspection and research trip to learn about the company's business operations and development. A delegation led by Liao Tao, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Intellectual Property Administration, visited KBC for research and inspection.

On the afternoon of September 19, 2018, Liao Tao, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Intellectual Property Administration, led a delegation to visit and inspect KBC. Accompanying them were Duan Zhixiong, Party Secretary and Director of the Hunan Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau; Huang Donghong, Vice Mayor of Yiyang Municipal People's Government; Yang Yaowu, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, among other leaders. The delegation toured the company’s product exhibition hall, where Mr. Wang Bingquan, General Manager of the company, presented an overview of KBC’s achievements in intellectual property management as well as the company’s intellectual property strategy. Comrade Gong Yuliang, Chairman of the Trade Union and Production Manager of Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd., was awarded the prestigious title of "Yiyang City Model Worker." "Academician and Expert Yiyang Visit" — KBC Shares Signs a Technical Cooperation Agreement with Academician Huang Boyun

To boost the implementation of the province's development strategy—driven by innovation and open for growth—and to attract and gather high-level expert talent to support local economic development while fostering a platform for communication and collaboration among local governments, enterprises, and experts, the "Academician and Expert Yiyang Visit" event, jointly organized by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Municipal Party Committee and Government, was officially launched on January 3, 2018.
