On May 28, 2023, the company successfully energized Phase I of its 50,000-ton integrated demonstration line for preparing carbon powder used as a lithium-battery anode material with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. This marks the entry of key processes—including crushing, granulation, carbon coating, pre-carbonization, and graphitization—into the trial production stage for this project.

The Phase I project covers approximately 230 mu of land. Construction began in August 2022, and it took only ten months from the start of construction to official production.
Once the project is put into operation, it will fully leverage the company's technological strengths in carbon-based composite material thermal fields and high-temperature heat treatment, creating a new profit driver for the company in the production of carbon powder used as negative electrode materials for lithium batteries. This will further accelerate the validation and widespread adoption of carbon-based composite material thermal technologies in the lithium-battery negative electrode sector, expand the application scope of these materials, and strengthen the implementation of the company's strategic plan for its advanced carbon materials industry platform.
