On February 28, 2015, the annual Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Changsha. Our company’s project, "Key Technologies and Applications for Preparing Carbon/Carbon Composite Crucibles," won the First Prize of the 2014 Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Carbon/carbon composite crucibles are core components in thermal systems used in solar photovoltaic, semiconductor, and other high-temperature metallurgy fields. Developed through five years of intensive scientific and technological research by our company, the project has resulted in 11 nationally authorized patents and the establishment of one industry standard. Some of the technologies involved represent domestic firsts, and the overall technical level of the product has reached an internationally leading position. Currently, this product is already being widely adopted in large-scale applications across China and abroad within the solar photovoltaic, semiconductor, and other high-purity metallurgy industries.
