KBC Shares Included in the FTSE Russell GEIS Index

Recently, FTSE Russell, the international index provider, announced the results of its quarterly review for the flagship indices in February 2022. The announcement revealed that the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (referred to as FTSE GEIS hereafter) has newly included 102 Chinese A-shares this time—comprising 26 large-cap A-shares, 4 mid-cap A-shares, and 72 small-cap A-shares—effective after the market close on March 18. Among the total 102 newly added A-share constituents, KBC Shares (stock code: 688598) was also listed.
