Morgan Stanley Capital International, commonly known as MSCI, is currently one of the world's leading index providers, compiling hundreds of indices across global markets. These indices are widely used by international institutional investors as benchmarks for their investment strategies and are closely tracked by them. Among MSCI's indices, the MSCI China A-Shares Onshore Index stands out as the first A-share benchmark index launched by MSCI—it boasts the highest historical recognition, the largest number of constituent stocks, and the broadest market capitalization coverage.

On November 26, 2021, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. jointly issued an announcement titled "Announcement on Adjusting Constituent Stocks of Indices such as SSE 50, SSE 180, and SSE 380." KBC Shares was selected as one of the 38 companies replacing existing constituents in the SSE 380 Index, effective after the close of trading on December 10, 2021.

The SSE 380 Index uses December 31, 2003, as its base date, with a base point of 1,000. Since the index's constituent stocks are primarily focused on high-growth, emerging blue-chip shares, this means the SSE 380 Index will join the SSE 180 Index and the SSE 50 Index in forming Shanghai's key blue-chip equity indices.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange 380 Index, when determining its sample universe, not only excludes constituents of the Shanghai 180 Index but also removes companies with negative retained earnings, as well as those that have failed to distribute cash dividends or issue bonus shares for five consecutive years. Afterward, the index selects the top 380 companies based on a comprehensive ranking derived from their revenue growth rate, return on equity, trading volume, and total market capitalization—while adhering to industry-specific weighting principles. This rigorous selection process ensures that the index includes companies with strong growth potential, robust profitability, substantial scale, and high liquidity, while also highlighting their prominent positions within their respective industries. As a result, the index exemplifies the blue-chip characteristics essential for sustained growth.

KBC Shares has been selected as a constituent stock in both the MSCI China A-Share Onshore Index and the Shanghai Stock Exchange 380 Index, reflecting the capital market's recognition and affirmation of the company's strategic direction, business development, and industry standing. Moving forward, the company will continue to uphold prudent operations, actively engage in investor relations management, intensify efforts in scientific research and innovation, and explore broader market opportunities—all while maintaining high-quality growth. This approach ensures that we deliver strong performance, rewarding our shareholders and contributing positively to society.
