From August 8 to 10, 2020, the 14th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Exhibition & Forum (SNEC2020) was successfully held in Shanghai. This event marked the most significant industry gathering for solar photovoltaics since the COVID-19 pandemic—and it was also the first major industry event attended by KBC Shares since its listing on the STAR Market.

On August 7, the company partnered with PV News to host the "4th Silicon Crystal Growth Technology Exchange Conference & Hunan KBC Listing Appreciation Gala." Over 250 representatives from industry and academic institutions—including leaders from Longi, Zhonghuan, Xinxin, JinkoSolar, Jinzhou Sunshine, Hongyuan, and JA Solar—attended the event to jointly explore the promising future prospects of carbon-based composite materials.

Mr. Li Jun, the company’s Chief Engineer, delivered a report titled "The Role and Insights of Carbon-Based Composites in Single-Crystal Thermal Fields." In his presentation, Mr. Li comprehensively outlined the applications and advantages of carbon-based composites in single-crystal thermal environments, while also proposing innovative approaches for thermal-field systems to meet the evolving demands of single-crystal development. The report captivated the audience and sparked an enthusiastic round of discussion.

The company’s 36-inch key thermal field components on display have been warmly received by a wide range of customers. As the photovoltaic market continues to grow rapidly, customer demand for larger-sized thermal fields is steadily increasing. In response, the company has proactively prepared by developing 36-inch large-format thermal field products and strategically planning production capacity—ensuring it is ready to efficiently ramp up production and deliver these larger thermal fields in bulk. This lays a solid foundation for embracing the rapid expansion of domestically produced large silicon wafers and accelerating the drive toward grid parity in solar energy. Meanwhile, the company’s high-purity pyrolytic carbon and silicon carbide-coated products on display have drawn significant attention from customers.
