On the morning of May 8, 2020, He Baoxiang, Vice Governor of Hunan Provincial People's Government, visited Yiyang to pay a courtesy call on Researcher Liao Jiqiao, an expert under his personal connection, at Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd. During the visit, he toured the company’s product exhibition hall and listened to a briefing from Chief Scientist Researcher Liao Jiqiao on Hunan Province’s efforts in building a strategic emerging carbon-based industry chain, cultivating talent teams, and managing business operations effectively. Attendees included officials from the Talent Office of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department and the Provincial Expert Service Center. Accompanying him for the visit were Liu Guolong, Vice Mayor of Yiyang City, and Wang Jun, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Yiyang National High-tech Zone Management Committee, who also joined the调研 (research and inspection) activities.
