On August 19, 2019, Li Weiwei, Chairwoman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and her delegation visited Yiyang to conduct a research study on how CPPCC members can better fulfill their roles, as well as on issues related to the transformation and development of the private economy. She also encouraged private enterprises across the board to contribute significantly to driving the province’s economic restructuring and fostering high-quality growth, thereby celebrating with outstanding accomplishments both the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
