The 8th International Carbon Materials Conference & Industry Exhibition (Carbontech 2024) successfully concluded from December 5 to 7, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The event showcased the latest global advancements in carbon materials for cutting-edge technology development and applications, providing a vast and dynamic platform for extensive exchanges among upstream and downstream enterprises as well as research institutions across related industries.
At this year's exhibition, Hunan KBC Carbon Co., Ltd., together with its wholly-owned subsidiaries KBC Carbon Ceramics and KBC Hydrogen Energy, made a grand debut, showcasing the company’s most representative products across its five core business areas. These included a complete thermal field system for single-crystal silicon ingot pulling in the photovoltaic sector; long-crystal growth thermal field components with tantalum carbide coatings and carbon/carbon composite insulation systems for the semiconductor industry; carbon/carbon board materials used for graphitization of negative electrode materials in the lithium-ion battery field; gas diffusion layers for fuel cells and four types of carbon paper substrates in the hydrogen energy sector; as well as carbon ceramic brake friction assemblies for the automotive industry and cutting-edge carbon-based products for the battery sector.
